Dian Zagorchinov, About

I am freelance cinematographer and director of photography, based in Berlin, Germany.

In 2006, I finished Masters in Film and TV Cinematography at the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria. Then I was invited in the Budapest Cinematography Masterclass 2007 with focus on lighting for drama by master-cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond, ASC, HSC.

In 2008, I was accepted at the Berlinale Talent Campus and I was invited in the Garage Studio film production program. In 2009 I was selected for a three month Berlin residency by the Nipkow Programm. After the end of the residency, I moved to Berlin where I currently work and live.
